Broke my squid abstract into four pieces. One will get framed, the other three will be bin work. Still have to decide that by morning. Theme for LaGrange this month is Lemon Yellow... maybe the piece with the most yellow?
Each image is strong, stands on its own. I could see these as a series, a theme, as Bob says. I can never get enough of seeing this Squid and now 4 of them, it's heaven!

Using my practice of quick poses in life drawing, I opportune to experiment with colors and differing line textures to recreate quickly the effects of light on the spiritual essence of the human form. My intention is to pull the viewer into following line, breathing with it's form, knowing it's actual beauty.

I know you can't keep everything, but together the four of these make an interesting set. I may have to go bin diving ;)
Bob
