I'm really grateful for my weeds. Aren't they gorgeous? Stray bird seed in the edge of my patio and foundation. Not really sure where the morning glories came from. I wanted to plant some but never did. I have allowed them to take over areas and burn the vines after they've dried.

Nature continues to gift us with more and more each day...we just need to stop and see it as you did..
Gift from the land. Funny how this time last year I was disappointed by not being able to plant all the perennials because of critters eating them. And this year relishing the wild flowers and 'weeds' nature has gifted me to make the yard look like a jungle. It's ok. And I so love happy sunflowers.
Just beautiful! The sunflower looks almost shy. Says "do you like me"; "can I be here". Bless you.
Ah, I see some painting projects here. They seem so happy under your care. Wild and free, just like the wild woman. Van Gogh would be proud, Doris.l
I do not remember writing on this post before...where did that come from? Must have been a hot day. Love the sunflower! And yes, I have mostly weeds too. And morning glories that keep popping up all over, but I love them.
