This piece used to have three nudes down the length, took a razor blade to it, headed different direction. Just started the direction last night. But tossed it up here anyway.
This piece I have dabbled at for two plus months, making small changes and still feel the composition itself isn't strong enough. There were birds on the beach but I scratched them out too. I'm too close to really see.

I've already commented on the gifts from the lake at a different blog but I would like to comment on the one above that..the greens and lines.. what a wonderful aray of movement going on..where you listening to any music at the time... I see this piece dancing.. hard to use colors next to each other on the colorwheel in the way that you have it's a wonderful playfulness to it.. good going gal!
Thanks. The colors began for a different composition entirely. But I saw some dead weeds dancing above greening grass and....
Can't wait to see what you will do with the top one. What a good idea. And love the beach scene. Love all the colors in there. Pointalism? Reminds me of the dunes (not that I get there very often, but my daughter and my grandson's h.s. teacher do and they return with fabulous photographs.
