Newest Neighbors

I do seem to get the best neighbors. Four arrived today and are yet a bit shy, but I think in time we'll be fast friends. A couple young girls were tending to them, but with my barking dogs I mostly kept some distance. I did throw a few apples over the fence though. They are beautiful, aren't they?

By the way, my little journal isn't a MYM journal, Doris. I never did get over to get one!

I did comment again on my post about the apple trees. Look and see. Julie says there is a product called "Fertilome" for "scale" or when the bugs attack your apple trees.

Oh they look so cute checking you out. But are their eyes covered? Are they feeling your presence or smelling the apples?

They do have fly netting protecting their faces, Bev. They still are keeping a distance as I'm a stranger and they've not acclimated to their new surroundings. They are lesson horses so they are trained well and gentle. Thanks April, I will have to look into the fertilome.
