I'm not ready. I love fall, but I had not experienced summer, no swimming, no dog days, no moonlit evenings escaping the heat on the patio. Just work and more work. With economy as it is, can I complain? I've not seen the leisure of summer and it's gone. Is money really worth it? I want to see the lightning bugs glitter above the green corn... it's a long wait now.

I hear you grieving the loss..it's ok..do that and then pull in the gratitude which I know you do and often..
Let's hope you have some nice days ahead, to gently ease you into the turn of the season.

I see a poem in your post here. Nice words!
It is a season coming on too soon but what wonderful photos you have captured.
Just look at the beautiful scene you have to look at! I know each season is stunning from you viewing point. There you go - a pastel of each season please!
I do need to put some pastels to paper!
