Evening Off

It didn't take much prodding (from myself)to take an evening off. I was going to check my wallet, get some gas and head out to draw after a very long haitus. deciding I needed that cash, elsewhere, I checked and drawing was canceled tonight anyway. I opened the new Gaiam in todays mail, set a glass of wine out and watched the corn come down. They were in the fields late last night and up again early this morning. The drone of the tractor and rumbling of the combines, the shuffle of corn into the waiting freight trailers. All sounds I enjoy, too soon, but still a blissful time to set and think awhile.

I am really in love with the views from your home! And I can imagine that the sounds of the farm machines would be very comforting!
