Yorkville Public Library Silent Auction



Two of my framed pieces are available.

Did a search for better photos and gave up. I have some somewhere on one the computers!

On Friday, Sept 24th there will be a silent auction at the library from 5-7 p.m. Entertainment by Ted Yoder winner of National Hammer Dulcimer Championship.
Hors d'oevures will be served.
All proceeds will benefit medical and rehabilitation bills for resident Marje Sauer who suffered a massive stroke recently.

What wonderful linocuts Doris! Beautifully composed and love the balance of light to dark areas. Would love to seemore if you have any! Hope the auction goes well.

Are these linocuts part of the silent auction itself? There certainly will be proud owners if so.
I so love that the library is doing this silent auction to help that woman. It just seems to be so much more meaningful to share one's art during events like these.
I think my future will include looking for fundraisers.....

Came back for another look at your linocuts Doris. I love the way you've captured the wide stance of the deer and the stretching necks of the hungry baby birds. These really are brilliant.
